Students shall be introduced to state-of-the-art experimental research in the fields of experimental and behavioral economics and finance, with a thematic focus on credence goods.

The course will provide an introduction to methods and will discuss recent papers in selected topics related to experimental and behavioral economics and finance and in particular credence goods, such as: modeling credence goods markets; lab and field experiments on fraud by expert sellers; experiments with professionals in the finance industry; the role of monetary and non-monetary incentives and the role of institutional design on markets for credence goods.
