Hazardous Waste Management in the US is an elective graduate course in the
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Master’s degree program.
This course addresses the development of the legal, environmental and engineering
aspects of hazardous waste management including the events that lead to the
promulgation of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Primary
topics addressed include hazardous waste generation, transportation, treatment,
storage, and disposal.
