The course participants will acquire some theoretical background knowledge on the action-oriented approach to teaching and learning English as a foreign language. They will be acquainted with and enabled to apply task-based procedures aimed at developing the four skills.
- Theoretical background knowledge on the action- and task-based approach to teaching English as a foreign language - Practical implementation of task-based language learning scenarios regarding the four skill. - Text book analysis - Task design, development of task-based language learning materials - Classroom simulations
Seminar with immanent examination. Active participation, development (and revision) of teaching materials, classroom simulations and short text book analysis.
