Deepen your knowledge in cognitive neuroscience; Learn neuroanatomical basics and brain functions; Understanding modern research approaches in neuroscience

Contents:

In the first part of this lecture (WS), we will discover the basics of cognitive neuroscience. How does our brain give rise to our abilities to perceive, act and think? Representative topics include perceptual and motor processes, decision making, learning and memory, attention, language, and executive functioning.

In the seond part of the lecture (SS), we will focus on social and affective neuroscience and learn about emotion, motivation, social intelligence, emotion regulation, morality, and empathy.

Survey of the basic facts, empirical evidence, theories and methods of study in cognitive neuroscience.
