This course is designed especially for ERASMUS+ students who would like to experience their first multi-day mountain tour in the Alps. Together, we explore the Tyrolean mountains, learn the basics of alpine hiking and gradually build confidence in moving through mountain terrain.
During the tour, we cover essential topics such as route planning, walking techniques for ascent and descent, understanding weather and conditions, basic orientation skills and choosing appropriate equipment. The daily stages are selected to be manageable for beginners while still offering impressive landscapes and an authentic mountain experience.
We will stay overnight in traditional mountain huts, allowing you to experience the unique atmosphere of alpine hut life and enjoy evenings together in the mountains.
The focus is on a safe and enjoyable introduction to multi-day hiking – with plenty of time to learn, explore and appreciate the alpine environment. The exact route will depend on snow conditions in June and will be announced at the end of May.

The course fee covers guidance and planning only. All additional costs – such as accommodation, food and any hut-related expenses – must be covered individually.
