House is an energetic and free street dance style originating from the club culture of Chicago and New York. This dance is closely connected to House music, therefore in the classes a strong focus is placed not only on technique and constant movement, but also on musicality.
During the course, we will learn the main elements of House dance: jacking, footwork, and lofting. In House dance, a large amount of work is done with the legs, so during the training the lower body becomes stronger, leg agility is developed, and overall body endurance increases. The classes resemble a dynamic cardio workout, in which movement merges with club music and good energy. The learned movements will be combined into combinations and short choreographies.
House is a true social dance: there is no competition; what matters most is community, freedom, and love while dancing. The course is suitable for both beginners and experienced dancers from other styles or House dance.
